West Belconnen Warriors [8] v Goulburn Workers Bulldogs (3) on Sunday at 3:00pm at Raiders BelconnenGoulburn Captain Daniel York is adamant that his side won’t be taking the bottom of the ladder West Belconnen Warriors lightly when they meet on Sunday.
Although they remain win-less for the year, the Warriors’ young and inexperienced side has been improving week after week.
West Belconnen is a vastly improved outfit to the one that comprehensively fell 34-6 to Goulburn in round two.
“We’re not reading too much into their previous results,” said York. “They’re a young side but they’ve got a lot of talented players in their ranks so we won’t be taking them lightly by any means, especially at their home ground.
“Every team is dangerous in the Canberra Raiders Cup and we can’t afford to drop any games if we want to be playing semi-final football at the end of the year.”
