Blues seal place in grand final

The Queanbeyan Blues stormed into the Canberra Raiders Cup grand final with a 32-10 victory over the Queanbeyan Kangaroos at Seiffert Oval on Sunday.

While the Blues enjoy a week off, the Kangaroos will need to regroup at Seiffert on Saturday as they face the Tuggeranong Bushrangers, who upset Belconnen United Scholars 24-14 at West Belconnen.

Minor premiers the Blues overcame an early 10-0 deficit to take a 12-10 lead into half-time.

Sam Langford, who came off the bench to play hooker, scored the Blues' first try sneaking across from dummy half for the first of his two tries for the game.

It was his first game back after eight weeks out with a rib cartilage injury.
