« on: July 25, 2013, 06:29:01 PM »
Woden Valley Rams (6) v Goulburn Workers Bulldogs (5) on Saturday at 3:00pm at Phillip District Oval

With his side sitting just one point outside the top four, Goulburn Captain Daniel York has urged his side to amend their inconsistency and lack of patience as they approach the final two rounds of the season.

The Bulldogs have troubled the best teams in the competition throughout the season however lapses of concentration during tight games and rushes of blood at a vital moments in matches have left them fighting for a semi-finals birth.

“Our season is on the line really and every remaining match is a must-win for us,” York said. “We believe that we’re a semi-final side and we’re prepared to play sudden death football to get there.

“To push for that semi-finals birth we need to improve our consistency and patience which has been detrimental to us at times this season.”

Injuries to senior players has affected Goulburn’s patience and consistency in recent weeks and in a timely boost they will welcome back seasoned five-eighth Luke Gray for this week’s clash with Woden.
