A disastrous second half display by the Canberra Raiders has seen the side slip to a 50-16 loss to the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium.
The Warriors were well in the contest at half-time trailing 20-12 however a disappointing defensive effort in the second half was the catalyst for the unacceptable loss.
New Zealand’s first half lead was built on the back of an incredible performance from winger Manu Vatuvei who registered a first half hat-trick whilst centre Jarrod Croker scored a brilliant first half double for the Raiders.
Alas, Canberra was bitterly disappointing in the second stanza as the Warriors halves and outside backs ran riot.
