The Canberra Raiders have received the highest representation in the 2013 Holden Cup Team of the Year after fullback Jack Ahearn, halfback Mitch Cornish, winger Jonathon Reuben and coach Mick Mantelli were all named at the ceremony today at Rugby League Central.
The Raiders are sitting four points clear at the top of the ladder due to the stellar performances of the aforementioned trio and the guidance of Mantelli.
Ahearn and Reuben were named in the starting side whilst Cornish takes his place on the bench behind West Tigers’ NRL halfback Luke Brooks.
Special mention must be made to Cornish who has joined a select brand of players to have achieved selection in the NYC Team of the Year twice.
