Late try blitz not good enough to get U20s across the line

THE CANBERRA Raiders crashed to consecutive losses yesterday to put a dent in their Toyota Cup premiership credentials.

Despite flying home with three tries in the final 11 minutes, the Raiders couldn't make up for a mistake-riddled first half in the 34-30 loss to the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park.

The Raiders are still in the top four but desperately need to recapture their early-season form if they want to secure a double chance in the finals.
