Young Raiders won't risk finals flop for minor prize

Canberra Raiders Toyota Cup coach Andrew Dunemann will consider resting key players to give themselves the best chance of winning the club's second under-20s premiership.

The Raiders will know whether they're a shot of securing the minor premiership when they face the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland on Sunday.

The Raiders or the Warriors can claim top spot if the ladder leading Canterbury Bulldogs lose to the Sydney Roosters tomorrow.

A Bulldogs victory means the Raiders will face the Warriors in the first week of the finals irrespective of Sunday's result.
