THE Canberra Raiders under-18 team thrashed the Pacific Sports Academy team 52-12 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Friday.
The match served a learning experience for the Pacific Sports Academy team with many playing taking up the sport for the first time.
Pacific Sports Academy general manager Stephen McLellan said the Raiders showed their class.
He said the visitors played a structured game.
"It was a learning experience for our boys," McLellan said.
"Canberra showed their professionalism. They played with structure and shape. Our players were more instinctive. But they did not give up until the final whistle."
