Man mountain Shannon Boyd has retained his place in the Raiders' starting team ahead of representative prop David Shilllington as Canberra looks to take down the ''benchmark'' forward pack in the NRL.
Boyd will be given a licence to throw his 122-kilogram frame head-on into a South Sydney Rabbitohs side led by English enforcer Sam Burgess at ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has stuck with Boyd after the 21-year-old made an impressive starting debut in just his second first-grade game in last week's 24-12 loss to the Gold Coast Titans.
Former Kangaroos and Queensland prop Shillington also provided plenty of punch when he was injected off the bench in his first game back from a rib injury.
