Queanbeyan Kangaroos (2) 42 defeated Gungahlin Bulls (7) 12 at Freebody OvalThe Queanbeyan Kangaroos have registered their third win in a row by defeating the Gungahlin Bulls 42-12 at home.
The victory by Queanbeyan enabled last year’s Grand Finalists to retain their standing in second place on the TTM Canberra Raiders Cup ladder.
Gungahlin went into the match confident after having previously beaten the Kangaroos 31-24 in round two this year however the Bulls were far from their best in their eight-tries-to-two loss.
Byran Cronan and Daniel Watt starred for Queanbeyan with both players registering a double in the win.
Gungahlin Captain-Coach Josh Ayres will look to re-group his talented but inconsistent side during the week as they set about taking on last year’s other Grand Final team, premiers the Belconnen United Scholars.
