Raiders name team for Storm Trial
The Canberra Raiders have named a 24 man squad for their opening trial match of the 2013 season against the Melbourne Storm at Simonds Stadium on Friday night.
With the highest representation in Saturday’s All-Stars match in Brisbane the Raiders have named a number of rookies to take on the Storm for their first hit out at NRL level.
Established NRL stars such as Josh Dugan, Jarrod Croker, Dane Tilse and Josh Papalii will be among the players to take on the Storm, however Shaun Fensom is a late withdrawal from the team after he sustained a minor ankle injury at training last week.
Regular NRL players Terry Campese, Brett White, Tom Learoyd-Lahrs and Glen Buttriss are also unavailable through injury.
