NYC Round 20 Match Preview: Raiders v Dragons After both scoring hat-tricks against the Eels last weekend, Jeremy Hawkins and Andrew Heffernan have been moved closer to the action for the clash with the St George Illawarra Dragons this Saturday, as the Raiders look to retain their position atop of the NYC ladder.
Hawkins and Heffernan were outstanding last week against the Eels in both attack and defence. Along with their three tries a piece, Hawkins made 1 line break, 126 metres, 5 tackle breaks, 1 offload and 16 tackles, while Heffernan 1 line break, 91 metres, 4 tackle breaks and 18 tackles.
Coach Mick Mantelli has elected to move the pair closer to the action this week against the Dragons to better utilise their dynamic talents.
Hawkins shifts from wing to centre and Heffernan shifts from centre to five-eighth.
