He's the Canberra Raiders cult figure still adjusting to fame, but Wendell Sailor has backed Edrick Lee to be the NRL's best aerial weapon since Wallabies superstar Israel Folau.
Lee has spent his lay-off with a broken arm working on his already impressive vertical leap and Sailor believes he can match, or even better, Sailor's fellow dual international Folau.
It's huge praise for a 21-year-old who boasts just 16 NRL games, but the 196cm former basketballer has already proven himself a potent high-ball target.
Lee was in career-best form last year before his season-ending injury against Brisbane in round nine.
