Greg Prichard writes: Here are two of the three biggest disappointments in the competition this season - the Titans are the other one. The Roosters, last year's beaten grand finalists, have won just four of their games and lost 10. The Raiders, who made a tremendous late-season charge last year to break into the finals and get through to the second week before being eliminated, are also 4-10. But at least the Raiders are last-start winners, at home over the Eels. The Roosters were very disappointing at their last start, losing on the road against the Knights.

It wasn't so much the result against the Knights, but the way the Roosters went about their business. There was no energy, no drive, no enthusiasm. It was a game they were quite capable of winning, on paper at least, but the other side simply wanted it more. The Roosters have lost Anthony Minichiello, Mitchell Pearce and Nate Myles because of State of Origin commitments. The Raiders haven't lost anyone to Origin, but that's only because two of their star players - Josh Dugan and David Shillington, who would normally be Origin considerations - are out injured.

ROOSTERS: Mark Khierallah, Sam Perrett, Justin Carney, Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Joseph Leilua, Braith Anasta (capt), Todd Carney, Aidan Guerra, Brad Takairangi, Tom Symonds, Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Jake Friend, Jason Ryles. Interchange: Anthony Mitchell, Mose Masoe, Tinirau Arona, Kane Linnett.
