Title: Katrina Fanning Shield 2022: Round 4 Wrap
Post by: Raidercast on May 24, 2022, 12:01:14 PM

The Katrina Fanning Shield continued over the weekend with Goulburn, Tuggeranong, Yass and South Coast all picking up sufficient wins in round four of the competition.

Goulburn City Bulldogs 32 d Woden Valley Rams 16
After a disrupted first month of the competition with a round one loss, a bye, and the washed-out magic round, the Bulldogs have secured their first win of the season.
On the special occasion of 'Ladies Day,' the Bulldogs well and truly showed-out for their supporters, racking up seven tries to take a commanding 32-16 win at home.

Krystal Blackwell and Madyson Tooth both collected try-doubles as they handed the newly-established Woden Valley Rams KFS side their first loss of the season.

Goulburn will look to make it two-from-two as they take on the undefeated Queanbeyan Blues at Seiffert Oval this Saturday. The Rams will also look to bounce-back when they host the UC Stars this weekend.

Tuggeranong Bushrangers 32 d UC Stars 0
The Bushrangers have collected their first win of the year, as they kept UC Stars scoreless at Greenway Oval on Saturday.

Tuggeranong didn't have the ideal start to their 2022 campaign, suffering large defeats to Woden and Yass in the opening rounds.

Meanwhile, the Stars have had a rollercoaster start to their season, going down in a tight round one loss, before bouncing back with a huge 30-6 win over Boomanulla in round two.

The Stars will look to return to the winners' circle this Saturday when they host the Woden Valley Rams while the Bushrangers will have the week off with a bye-round.

Yass Magpies 82 d Boomanulla Raiders 0
Yass have recorded a massive 82-nil win over the Boomanulla Raiders at Boomanulla Oval on Saturday.

The reigning minor premiers Yass have made a statement to the entire competition, as the club piled on 82 points to improve their undefeated record and forand against to 136 after only three games.

The Raiders have had a rough start to the year, only managing to score 6 points in three games.
