Penrith, St George Illawarra and Canberra will all take games to regional NSW as part of next year's NRL draw, with at least one more bush game still expected to be added.

The NRL confirmed the dates for the Panthers, Dragons and Raiders games in Bathurst, Mudgee and Wagga Wagga respectively, with all to fall in the first 10 rounds of the competition.

It comes after three games were also played in NSW regional centres last year, up by two on previous years following the City-Country fixture being scrapped.

George Bailey will captain a Prime Minister's XI side to face South Africa in the tourists' only warm-up match before next month's one-day series against Australia.

Bailey is one of four players with international experience picked in the host's side for the October 31 day-night clash at Canberra's Manuka Oval, alongside Nic Maddinson, Jason Behrendorff and Gurinder Sandhu.

Teenage NSW batsman Jack Edwards' dream rookie summer will also have a chance to continue, named to play his first match against a senior national squad in the Chris Rogers-coached side.

Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga has declared five-eighth Luke Keary a certain starter for Saturday's historic rugby league Test against Tonga.

Keary was in doubt to play at Mt Smart Stadium after suffering concussion last week but trained strongly in Friday's captain's run.

"He's fit and healthy which is great, come through the week really well, followed all the protocol and looking forward to playing tomorrow night," Meninga said on Friday.

Brisbane Broncos coach Wayne Bennett is ‘completely off’ a move to Wests Tigers, according to a morning radio report.

It had been reported that the veteran coach had been interested in replacing Ivan Cleary at the Tigers as the NRL coaching merry go round turns.

But reporter Andrew Webster told the Big Sports Breakfast show: “I’ve been told overnight that Wayne Bennett has dropped completely off the Tigers.
