NRL legend Anrew Johns has emphatically echoed Canberra Coach Ricky Stuarts impassioned post-match plea to referees following a highly controversial game-changing try that was allowed against the Raiders.
A surprisingly considered Stuart took to his post-match press conference to speak his mind on a Sione Katao’s try that was allowed by the bunker after the linesmen sheepishly flagged a knock-on, prompting the Raiders to stop playing which allowed Katao to slip behind the line.
Stuart claimed the error was just one example of why “people are turning off rugby League”, and Johns vehemently reiterated that sentiment.
