Joy and relief as Earl downs former club

Sandor Earl knew a sledging barrage was inevitable when he returned to Penrith, and he braced himself accordingly.

It meant his joy at helping new club Canberra keep its season alive with a 20-10 was followed by relief he could put the fixture to bed.

Former Panther Earl joined the Raiders mid-season in what has proved a successful witch, having now won five of his first seven matches in a green jersey.
