Canberra semi-final main aim for Shillo

Canberra skipper David Shillington believes the lure of a home final should convince coach David Furner to field a full strength side against the Warriors on Sunday, even if a finals spot is already assured.

The Raiders will be guaranteed a top-eight place should Penrith pull off an upset in Brisbane on Friday, or Melbourne account for Wests Tigers at Campbelltown on Saturday.

Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy yesterday revealed he would consider resting some players against the Tigers, with the Storm having already secured a top-two spot after Monday's dramatic 20-18 win over Cronulla.

The Storm scored two tries in the final two minutes to snatch an incredible victory at AAMI Park, keeping the Raiders' chances of a home final alive.
