Former Raider keen to lend support to the causeFORMER Canberra Raiders captain Jason Croker will attend this year's Swimathon for Cystic Fibrosis Launch at Camden Valley Inn on February 3.
Croker is a friend of Campbelltown's Labor candidate Nick Bleasdale.
Mr Bleasdale said he told Croker about the Advertiser's swim launch.
"As soon as I told him he said what can I do to help," Mr Bleasdale said.
"We're going to donate a signed 2011 Canberra Raiders Jersey for the auction and any Raiders fans who attend the launch can bring their gear for Jason to sign.
"Macarthur is such a caring community.
"When others are down and out we all dig deep and help out, so I'm glad I can do something to support this event."
