The Canberra Raiders are proud to have supported a tremendous new program implemented by the Queanbeyan Police Station, ‘Program Punch Start’, aimed at providing a positive boost for the health and well-being of the youth in the area.
‘Program Punch Start’ is loosely based on the ‘Kickstart’ program offered elsewhere in the state by PCYC clubs. Unfortunately Queanbeyan doesn’t have a PCYC so Alive Gym in Queanbeyan has agreed to come on board and will provide the boys in the area with a 45 minute fitness session a week for eight weeks.
After their workout the boys get changed into their school uniforms and are provided with breakfast and then taken to school.
