Tuggeranong Bushrangers (6) v West Belconnen Warriors [8] on Saturday at 3:00pm at GreenwayWest Belconnen will look to redeem themselves for their poor opening encounter against Tuggeranong when they take on the Bushrangers on their home turf on Saturday afternoon.
The Warriors were thrashed 52-4 in round one with star Bushrangers fullback Michael Brophy creating havoc for West Belconnen every time he touched the ball.
Fortunately for the Warriors, Tuggeranong will be without their talented custodian with Brophy having succumbed to injury.
“Tuggeranong gave us a touch up in round one but we are definitely improving every week and hopefully we can roll on from our last couple of performances and notch up a win this weekend,” said West Belconnen hooker Nic Whatman.
“Brophy is a massive loss for them. He is very quick and always puts them on the front foot with his kick returns. They will miss his direction from the back."
