Canberra Raiders Cup Round 9 Preview: Queanbeyan Roos V Gungahlin

Queanbeyan Kangaroos (2) v Gungahlin Bulls (7) on Saturday at 3:00pm at Freebody Oval

Gungahlin produced their best performance of the year back in round two when they upset last year’s Grand Finalist’s the Queanbeyan Kangaroos to record their first win of the year.

The Bulls have been inconsistent since then however, only returning to the winner’s circle last week when they defeated the Rams 26-22.

Conversely, Queanbeyan has been in great form since climbing to second place on the ladder.
Kangaroos Coach Aaron Gorrell will not have forgotten the loss handed to them in round two and Gorrell will have fired his troops up to ensure that it doesn’t happen again.

Queanbeyan will be determined not to let their second placed standing on the ladder slip with Belconnen United and Goulburn chomping on their heels just a point below them on the ladder.
