It will take more than sore knees and a poke in the eye to stop Raiders powerhouse Josh Papalii from backing up against the Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium on Friday night.
Papalii made his State of Origin debut in Queensland's emphatic 26-6 victory over NSW on Wednesday, coming off the bench for the last 11 minutes.
The quietly spoken backrower was in the thick of the action when the melee broke out in the dying minutes of Origin II and he copped a stray finger in his eye while trying to separate Trent Merrin from his teammate Brent Tate.
Papalii joked some ''magic water'' fixed his eye as he looks to show Queensland coach Mal Meninga he's worthy of a recall for the decider in Sydney on July 17.
