Belconnen United Coach John Hawke has previously labelled Queanbeyan as “the best side in the competition at the moment” and it’s not hard to see why after this clinical display.
Queanbeyan now not only sits atop of the ladder but have also retained their standing as the best team in terms of offensive and defensive statistics.
Their potent mix of hardened and experienced campaigners coupled with several talented youngsters has them firming as the favourites for this year’s title.
One of the talented youngsters coming through has been hooker Josh Chudleigh, who was again brilliant yesterday scoring a try.
