Queanbeyan Blues (1) 98 defeated West Belconnen Warriors ( 0 at Seiffert Oval

There’s not much more you can say in regards to the 98 point thrashing that West Belconnen sustained at the hands of the Queanbeyan Blues other than embarrassing.

The winless Warriors were looking to finish their season on a high note however they did the complete opposite to that after being completely annihilated by the top of the table Blues and finishing their season on the worst possible note.

Queanbeyan ran in a jaw-dropping 17 tries in the demolition with winger Craig Wilkinson collecting 30 points after slotting 15 goals.

In complete rarity, three players from the Blues registered hat-tricks with Josh Chudleigh, Scott Rutland and Tyler Stevens all crossing the line three times each.

West Belconnen, along with Gungahlin, were the only sides to play in the round 12 with the other games being washed out, meaning that their season has ended after this whitewash.

Simply, there needs to be a lot of soul searching and hard work from West Belconnen in the off-season.
