Hudson Young's NRL finals hopes are in tatters after the Canberra Raiders rookie was found guilty of an eye gouge for the second time this season. The prosecution pushed for a 10 to 12-week ban. The outcome of the 100-minute hearing means Young will miss the Raiders' finals clash with the Melbourne Storm in Melbourne on Saturday. The Raiders had named Young in their 21-man squad on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the highly-anticipated qualifying final in the hope he would be an extra string in coach Ricky Stuart's bow. But Young was found guilty of dangerous contact to the eyes of New Zealand Warriors winger Adam Pompey after a lengthy hearing with the judiciary panel now deliberating on the sentencing.
