Canberra Raiders five-eighth Jack Wighton has vowed to join the fight against racism by calling out arrogant and disrespectful slurs. Wighton has backed his one-time NSW teammate Latrell Mitchell's stance after the Sydney Roosters star labelled the treatment of Australia's Indigenous people as "sickening". The 22-year-old called out an online troll last month and says "I'll do that for the rest of my career, for the rest of my life". Now Wighton has slammed those making racial slurs and he is adamant the people behind the keyboard don't want to learn about the pain they are causing. But the NRL five-eighth of the year contender believes this goes beyond educating the purveyors of vitriol who seemingly have no fear of repercussions.
