Nami Qld bolter after steller NRL season
« on: October 21, 2020, 04:49:17 PM »
Raiders prop Dunamis Lui has capped a career-best year in the NRL by being named in Wayne Bennett's Queensland State of Origin squad. Lui will enter the Maroons camp alongside Raiders enforcer Josh Papalii, as one of 14 players in the Queensland squad who have never played Origin football. His selection caps a stellar two seasons at the Raiders, during which Lui has played 47 games and emerged as one of the club's most consistent performers. He played a key role in solving Ricky Stuart's middle forward injury crisis, and notched his 150th NRL match against Gold Coast in round 15. Papalii's selection meanwhile comes just days after he was named in the Dally M team of the year, and weeks after he collected his fourth Mal Meninga Medal as the club's best player.
