The Queanbeyan Roos are looking to take their end of season form from last year and make a huge run at winning their first Canberra Raiders Cup premiership in almost ten years.
The Queanbeyan Roos came home with a wet sail finishing in third position on the 2021 Canberra Raiders Cup ladder after 15 rounds of the competition.
The Roos were slow out of the gates, only putting two wins together in their first six games. But, after a massive 60-14 win over eventual minor premiers Gungahlin mid-way through the season, the Roos went on a run to finish near the top of the ladder.
Kangaroos dummy-half Lochie Ingram spoke about their preseason and how they're going to have to perform this season if they want to match last year's efforts.
"Preseason has been really tough. We started early-November and we've been going all the way through. The boys have been ripping in. Compared to last year, I think we're in a very good spot," Ingram said.
