About 10 mins until kick off between the Raiders and Cowboys in the NRL. Lets do it mighty green machine!

FIRST HALF

Kick off to the NRL in Townsville between the Raiders and Cowboys. Raiders kicked off. Go mighty Green Machine!

Cowboys score early after a Raiders kick rebounded and they made a break and scored a couple of tackles later. Tate gets across the line. White has picked up some kind of wrist problem but is playing on. Thurston takes the conversion from the sideline and misses. Cowboys lead 4-0 after 4 mins.

Great take! Edrick Lee grabs an intercept and runs all the way and scores and hits back for the Raiders. Croker takes the conversion from close to the posts and gets it. Raiders lead 6-4 after 9 mins.

Cowboys score through Hall after getting a repeat set close to the line. Looks like the pregame prediction of a try fest is going to come true. Thurston successfully converts and Cowboys lead 10-6 after 14 mins.

Bowen scores for the Cowboys off a Thurston grubber. Raiders need to fix their goal line defence. Thurston takes conversion from right in front and gets it. Cowboys lead 16-6 after 17 mins.

Good defence from Raiders holds the Cowboys out and forces a forward pass.

Raiders force a drop out with a good kick from Williams. Campese and Tilse about to come on.

Edwards just smashed Faifai Law with a beautiful tackle! Great hit!

Play has been stopped with Bowen down injured. He gets up gingerly and walks it off.

Raiders force a drop out by a good Williams grubber which Bowen knocks dead.

Vaughan has just come on for the Raiders in his debut. Congratulations Paul!

Video ref Raiders but its a clear no try. Thompson knocks on. Cowboys get a scrum. Still Cowboys leading 16-6 after 37 mins.

Half time Cowboys lead the Raiders by 16-6. Raiders seem to have fixed their defence which was lacking early and the game has developed into a bit of an arm wrestle.

SECOND HALF

Kick off to the second half of NRL in Townsville, Cowboys lead Raiders 16-6. NQL kicked off.

Campo forces a knock on from Faifai Law with a huge bomb.

A great kick from Campo and great chase by Croker forces a drop out.

Raiders mount more pressure with another drop out forced off a grubber.

Raiders defend well on their line but Cowboys force a drop out.

More good defence from Raiders and they hold Cowboys out after the drop out but then knock on from dummy half on their next set. Cowboys scrum 20m out.

Video ref Cowboys, ref thinks no try. Morgan reaches out and almost gets over but then loses it. Looks short to me. It's ruled a no try and a scrum with Raiders feed.

Time off with both Tate and Croker down hurt after a solid tackle between the two. Croker looks ok but is getting his knee strapped after twisting it. Tate gets to his feet too. Cowboys still lead 16-6 after 60 mins.

Cowboys make a long break out of nothing and Morgan scores out wide. Thurston takes the conversion and gets it. Cowboys lead 22-6 with 15 mins left.

Raiders force a knock on from Faifai Law off a high bomb. Raiders go on the attack.

Raiders hit back! Wighton scores after Cowboys knock on again off a kick and Williams gives Jack the ball for the try. Robinson converts due to Croker's knee injury and Cowboys lead 22-12 with 10 mins left.

Cowboys get a penalty right in front for an alleged strip and elect to take the two. Thurston lines up the penalty and gets it. Cowboys lead 24-12 with 6 mins left. Raiders get the ball back off a short kick off.

Cowboys score off a Thurston grubber to Graham who grounds it to win the game. Thurston lines up the conversion from out wide and hits the posts and misses. Cowboys lead 28-12 with 1 min left.

Cowboys get a penalty on the last play of the game and elect to take the two again. Thurston lines up the kick and gets it. Cowboys defeat Raiders 30-12 at full time.
