The Canberra Raiders have made it three wins in as many years South of the border, snapping the Storms winning streak and winning 24-20 at AAMI Park.
Blake Ferguson was a standout for the Raiders as he scored a double, combining with Josh McCrone both times to score. The Raiders played one of their best games of the season as they controlled field position and the ball, to outshine the Storm on their home turf.
The early going saw both sides controlling the ball well with the opening five minutes seeing the play go end to end and set for set to start the match.
The Raiders then suffered an early blow when Tom Learoyd-Lahrs was forced from the field with a foot injury and he didn't return to the game.
