Raiders centre Blake Ferguson has dispelled rumours of a falling out with coach David Furner by signing a new contract, requesting a clause that allows him to quit Canberra if Furner isn't at the helm.
Furner angrily confronted Ferguson when he skipped a recovery session for his drinking binge with sacked fullback Josh Dugan on the roof of his home in March.
But while Dugan walked out on the club and his coach, on Tuesday Ferguson has pledged his support to Furner by committing to Canberra until the end of 2015.
The contract includes a get-out clause that allows Ferguson to leave if Furner is no longer coach.
