Goulburn Workers Bulldogs (3) v Queanbeyan Blues (1) on Sunday at 3:00pm at Goulburn Workers ArenaWhilst Queanbeyan demolished Goulburn 40-22 in round one, Blues Coach Simon Woolford is anticipating a vastly improved Bulldogs outfit ahead of their match on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues followed that impressive win with two less than impressive performances including a loss to Woden in round three.
They have since recovered from that dip in form to ascend to first place on the ladder.
The fact that Goulburn has also climbed to third place on the ladder should make for a highly entertaining game.
“We had a good win against them in round one but I think that they’ve improved a lot since then and I dare say that we’ve improved a fair bit too,” said Woolford.
“We played pretty well that day but we were always going to take a bit of time to improve with new players in key positions.”
