West Belconnen Warriors [8] v Queanbeyan Kangaroos (2) on Saturday at Raiders BelconnenWest Belconnen five-eighth Joe Cramp has implored his team to not feel sorry for themselves despite their win-less start to the year.
“We just need to stay positive because we won't get anywhere feeling sorry for ourselves,” Cramp said.
Queanbeyan defeated West Belconnen 38-16 in round three however the Warriors can go into the match with plenty of confidence knowing that they led last year’s grand finalists at halftime in that encounter.
“We played well for the first half and were in front at halftime,” Cramp said. “We rattled them a bit but after half time they went back to the way they have played the last few seasons; tough, completions footy and they wore us out."
