While the Warriors delivered a spirited performance, the Scholars never looked in danger of losing this encounter.
The quality of Belconnen United’s performance has West Belconnen five-eighth Joe Cramp predicting that they are capable of registering back-to-back premierships in 2013, if their head-space is positive.
“I still think that the Blues are the team to beat in the competition this year but the Scholars have a team that can win the competition and go back-to-back, they just need to get their heads right,” Cramp said.
The renowned brute force and experience of the Scholars’ forwards came the fore in this encounter with the pack dominating that of West Belconnen’s.
