Moa, Fensom to face NRL judiciary
« on: March 25, 2015, 12:39:56 PM »
Sydney Roosters prop Sam Moa will join Canberra back-rower Shaun Fensom at the NRL judiciary on Wednesday night, as the duo bid to beat dangerous contact charges so they can play when their teams meet on Sunday.

Moa was hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge stemming from a first half "crusher" tackle on his Penrith opposite Brent Kite in the Roosters' round three win on Monday night.

Fensom was also hit with a grade one dangerous contact charge on Euan Aitken in the first half of the Raiders' loss to the Dragons on Saturday.

Both players will be available for the Roosters' match against the Raiders at Allianz Stadium on Sunday if they are found not guilty.

If found guilty each player will spend a week on the sidelines.

Cronulla's Ben Barba has been outed for two matches after taking the early plea on two charges from the Sharks loss to Melbourne.

Newcastle's Korbin Sims will also miss two NRL games over two incidents in the Knights' win over the Gold Coast.

Wests Tigers winger Pat Richards is the other player suspended following charges from round three.

Richards took the early plea on a grade one dangerous contact charge on Greg Inglis in South Sydney's win over the Tigers on Sunday and will miss Friday's match against the Bulldogs.
