North Queensland's Matt Scott says he's proud of Johnathan Thurston's intention to show his support for AFL star Adam Goodes this weekend.
Thurston has indicated he'll perform an indigenous war dance if he scores in the Cowboys' NRL clash with Canberra on Saturday to show his solidarity with dual Brownlow medallist Goodes.
The decision could overshadow Scott's 200th NRL appearance but he says that's not an issue and he supports his teammate's decision.
