The Canberra Raiders have given recruit Curtis Scott the week off training to sort things out. Scott faces six charges, including two counts of assaulting a police officer, and is set to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on February 20. The 22-year-old was set to return to training after a few days off on Wednesday morning, but the NRL club has opted to give him time off instead. NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg is expected to make a decision on whether the former Melbourne Storm centre will be stood down as a result of the allegations. Scott was arrested by NSW Police in Sydney on Monday morning.
