Katrina Fanning Shield 2022: Round 4 Preview
« on: May 19, 2022, 04:32:18 PM »

Round four of the Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield kicks off this weekend after last week’s proposed ‘magic round’ was rescheduled due to wet weather.

Goulburn City Bulldogs vs Woden Valley Rams, Workers Arene, 10:40am Saturday 21st May.
The Bulldogs will host the Rams as the Bulldogs look to get their first win of the season against an undefeated Rams side.
The Bulldogs went down 30-18 against the Yass Magpies in round one before having a bye in round two and then missing last week as Magic Round was called off.

Meanwhile, the Rams currently sit second on the ladder with big wins in the first two rounds over the Bushrangers and the Worhawks.

The Rams have had an incredible start to their first ever KFS season, their attack is the best in the competition so far but this will be their biggest test yet as they take on last year's joint minor premiers.

It will be a great chance for both sides to make a statement to the rest of the competition with a win this weekend.

Tuggeranong Bushrangers vs UC Stars, Greenway Oval, 10:45am Saturday 21st May.
The Bushrangers will be desperate to secure their first win of the season as they host the UC Stars who currently sit inside the top four.

The Bushrangers have had a poor start to the season with an 0-2 record, after heavy defeats to the Rams and Magpies. The Bushrangers showed glimpses of what they can do in their first game of the season before suffering a big 42-0 defeat in round two.

The UC Stars will be coming into this game with plenty of confidence, off the back of a great win over the Raiders in round two. Unfortunately the Stars opening game was called off at halftime as they suffered an 8-0 loss, but their impressive for and against has put them into fourth spot on the ladder.

It will be an interesting matchup as the Bushrangers have proved to leak points up against a Stars team that looked unstoppable in round two.
