| TEAM NEWS |A new batch of Canberra Raiders will take the field against Melbourne Storm on Saturday afternoon, hopefully giving the Green Machine faithful plenty of reasons to get excited about the National Youth Competition this season.
Halfback Mitch Cornish was named skipper at the season launch and he will team with exciting five-eighth Jack Wighton in the halves. Key NYC holdovers Shannon Boyd, Michael Chee-Kam, and Jeff Lynch lineup in the pack.
New faces in the team this year are fullback Mitchell Cronin, winger Brad Smith, prop Shane Duck and bench players Tim Sloman and Dane Clarke.
