An under-strength Canberra Raiders have given up the competition lead after a horror second-half fadeout in its top-of-the-table clash with Canterbury at Canberra Stadium last night.Ahead of the Bulldogs by one point on the table before the clash, the visitors ran in 34 unanswered points after half-time in their 46-12 win.
The Raiders sorely missed star centre Edrick Lee and workaholic second-rower Michael Chee Kam through injury.
Both were named in the Toyota Cup Team of the Year this week, and Chee Kam's presence in the middle in particular was noticeable.
