The mighty Queanbeyan Blues are 85 years young this year, having been established as Masons Blues in 1928.
Throughout its proud history the Blues have produced many internationals, Johnny (Feathers) Hawke became the first blue Kangaroo in 1948. Feathers was followed by Ian Thompson, Glenn Lazarus, Ricky Stuart, David Furner, Brent Kite and Terry Campese. Rugby Internationals David Campese, Saia & Anthony Faingaa all came through the Junior Blues.
The Blues are now calling on all players, officials and supporters past and present, to come along and celebrate the 85th year of the Blues. Contact those from your era to ensure no one is left out.
The celebrations begin on Saturday the 8th June with an informal gathering at the Queanbeyan Leagues Club.
