Mitch and Tyler Cornish have been looking forward to this encounter ever since Tyler, the younger of the two brothers, joined the Sydney Roosters last year.
“It was tough for Tyler because he had a lot of talented halves in front of him here,” said Mitch. “He got an opportunity at the Roosters and he’s taken it with both hands and I’m really proud of him.”
“We’re both pretty excited about playing each other and we’ve been talking about it every day. We’ve played plenty of football with each other back home for Goulburn growing up but never with each other in a proper match."
