The Raiders NYC side will look to put behind them something that happened for the first time this year – back-to-back losses – as the Green Machine looks to cement their place atop of the Holden Cup ladder.
After losing to the Panthers in round one, the young Raiders embarked on a 12 match unbeaten run until they were defeated by the Wests Tigers in round 15.
Unfortunately they backed that loss up with another the following round against the South Sydney Rabbitohs going down 22-12 and they will look to return to the winner’s circle when they take on the 14th placed North Queensland Cowboys.
Compounding this slight slump in form is the loss of inspirational forward leader Jeff Lynch who requires a shoulder reconstruction and will be sidelined for the rest of the year as a result.
