Woden Valley Rams 33 defeated Goulburn Workers Bulldogs 24 at Phillip District OvalWoden has kept their semi-finals dreams alive after defeating fellow semi-final aspirant, the Goulburn Workers Bulldogs at home.
The win has subsequently allowed the Rams to leapfrog the Bulldogs into fifth place on the competition ladder and just two points below the fourth placed Tuggeranong Bushrangers.
Goulburn Captain Daniel York, who scored an impressive try, was bitterly disappointed with the loss considering that his side’s season was on the line.
“We talked in the lead-up to the match that every game from now on in is a must-win for us so we haven’t really done ourselves a favour losing here to the Rams,” York said.
York had nominated star centre Tim Crome as a player to watch in the lead-up to the match and the CRRL representative proved why with a starring display.
