Queanbeyan Blues (1) v West Belconnen Warriors [8] on Saturday at 3:00pm at Seiffert OvalThe clash between the Queanbeyan Blues and the West Belconnen Warriors will see a re-match between the two Freeman brothers, Levi and Tori.
Levi enjoyed bragging rights over his younger brother in round seven earlier this year when the Queanbeyan Blues defeated West Belconnen 50-12 in round seven.
There was plenty of banter in the lead up to the game with Levi remarking “Yeah there has been a bit of banter going on. He’s put on a bit of weight this year so he reckons he’s going to smash me.”
Tori will no doubt look to do the same again this week against his older brother however his side as a whole will be preparing themselves for a monumental challenge.
The opposing sides are on opposite ends of the spectrum with the Blues atop of the competition ladder and the best team statistically in both attack and defence whereas the Warriors are resigned to finishing the season with the wooden spoon along with being the worst team in the competition statistically.
