The Tigers have kept their finals hopes alive after coming from behind to down the Brisbane Broncos 42-24 in a thriller at Suncorp Stadium.

The scoreline perhaps didn't reflect the intensity of the contest, with both sides trading the lead four times throughout the clash until a late Broncos capitulation saw Michael Maguire's Tigers run home three tries in the final 15 minutes.

Youngster Tommy Talau (who was brought into the squad in place of James Roberts who is in isolation) bagged a crucial late double, as did David Nofoaluma who scored his 86th try for the Tigers to become the club's highest try-scorer. It takes him past club legends Benji Marshall and Chris Lawrence.
