Injuries to star Canberra players Jarrod Croker and Aidan Sezer has opened the door for 21-year-old Jack Murchie to make his NRL debut.
Murchie will start on the bench in the Raiders' clash with Cronulla on Friday night as Blake Austin comes into the starting line-up after the injury to Sezer at training on Tuesday.
Canberra will be missing five key players when they take on the Sharks, with Shannon Boyd, Joseph Tapine and Jack Wighton already on the sidelines.
